Science Week at Kasese Humanist School: Science for a Sustainable Future

Kasese Humanist School is excited to host Science Week at our Rukoki Campus under the theme “Science for a Sustainable Future.” The event aims to inspire learners to explore science, develop practical skills, and understand how scientific knowledge can contribute to healthy people, a clean environment, and prosperous communities.
Throughout the Science Week, students will participate in science exhibitions, practical demonstrations, debates and presentations, environmental activities, science quizzes and competitions, and career guidance sessions in STEM and related fields. These activities will encourage curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation.
The event will help learners connect classroom knowledge with real-life challenges, strengthen their confidence, promote environmental responsibility, and explore future educational and career opportunities. We hope to nurture young people who can apply science and reason to improve their communities and contribute to a sustainable future.
