We promote GIRL CHILD EDUCATION

Girl child education in Uganda has seen significant progress over the years, but challenges remain.

Key points include:

1. Access and Enrollment: Enrollment rates for girls have improved, with initiatives aimed at reducing barriers such as poverty, early marriage, and cultural attitudes that prioritize boys' education.

2. Government Policies: The Ugandan government has implemented policies like Universal Primary Education (UPE) and Universal Secondary Education (USE) to promote education for all, including girls.

3. Challenges: Despite improvements, girls still face obstacles such as gender-based violence, inadequate sanitation facilities in schools, and the impact of adolescent pregnancy.

4. Community Initiatives: Various NGOs and community programs focus on raising awareness about the importance of educating girls and providing scholarships and support.

5. Impact of Education: Educating girls leads to improved health, economic stability, and empowerment, contributing positively to community development.

Emphasizing on EQUALITY is very important,  more boys and girls are needed in school  for each one of them has a role to play.
