I today planted 25 soursop, 25 avocados and 15 tangerine oranges in my efforts of creating The Polestar Fruit Orchard at the Rukoki campus.

Fruit trees being planted at our school

The exercise was seen through participation by scores of the pupils at Kasese Humanist School who are going to be beneficiaries of these fruits when they mature.

Kasese humanist school featured in AAI Annual report

Kasese humanist school enjoys a long time fraternity with Atheist Alliance International and there is a lot that has been attained via the partnership.

Kasese humanist school is an affiliate of Atheist Alliance International and in the early stages as we were opening our school project, AAI sent a team of 4 volunteers who actively participated in our community outreach,  classroom teaching and early renovation works of the rented railway properties that accommodated our first school in 2010 and 2011 when we started.

Atheist Alliance International to this very time continues to accept donations for our school project on their website. The campaigns page is on this link https://www.atheistalliance.org/campaigns/kasese-humanist-school/

You can look at a mention of our school project in their latest annual report of 2022/2023 on the link below:

On behalf of Kasese Humanist School,  I thank AAI Officers and members globally for standing with us to this very moment.

Give some hope to these happy humans

Kasese Humanist School is open to all children from all walks of life where a bigger section are children from able parents who meet school fees and other school requirements while there are vulnerable and less fortunate children including orphans from impoverished homes where some are neglected or abandoned by their families and we help bridge this gap.

You can SPONSOR A CHILD here https://www.atheistalliance.org/campaigns/kasese-humanist-school/

In the early years, we begun the Child Sponsorship Program where potential child sponsors have assisted in sponsoring children for a term, several terms, year and years for some lucky ones. We created the BIZOHA ORPHANS also known as the KASESE HUMANIST ORPHANS where we have continued to care for the orphans in our community.

The orphans are given education and other basics of life like given access to our classrooms, given scholastic items like school uniforms, books, pens, pencils, crayons , clothing, food and a section of them sheltered.

We give hope to these children to study and prepare their future into a meaningful one.
Those whom we have helped have not remained the same, we are happy seeing the assisted ones become teachers, engineers, doctors, mechanics, tailors and many of them becoming job creators.

Giving a donation in aid to a needy vulnerable child is one way of bridging the gap between the fortunate with the less fortunate humans and giving them hope for a future and better life.

Any coin extended to this cause will go a long way to create positive change and improving the livelihoods of the orphans.

Edible food forest initiatives

I harvested these on the outskirts of our garden and I am gonna feast on them.

Showing off some harvested red chillies

Normally I dry and crush them into powder and each time depending on the meal, I sprinkle some moderate to the food to spice it up and the taste is always enjoyable and pleasurable.

Living simple and within your means generates total peace and wisdom.

Our other crops on the farm like okra and eggplants πŸ† are doing so well.

Am happy  the orphans have deeper reasons to smile as they feast on these vegetables.

Attached are some images of red chillies and bamiya plants thriving on our property.

Sponsorship goes beyond providing for an orphan’s needs, it speaks to the heart of a child and tells them they are valuable, precious and loved. It gives them a sense of belonging and acceptance.

For an orphan who has experienced loss, abandonment, rejection and trauma, knowing there is someone out there who cares and wants to see them thrive is life-changing.

Just fitted a Rainwater harvesting tank

I fitted the rain water πŸ’§ harvesting tank at the auto garage facility.

Being simple, keeping it simple and working within our means keeps us on the move. My people should have access to free cheap water provided by nature.

The water are harvested in the water tank each time there is a downpour and this water is very useful for domestic purposes,  cleaning of utensils, overalls, auto parts, car πŸš— wash services  to mention but a few.

This is the third water tank at this establishment and I am so grateful for this.
