Bizoha Backpackers Hostel has been rented out to tenant who is going to be operating a medical center in the entire building.

The renter is taking up the front and backside building for a period of several months. There has been several modifications made to ensure the facility conforms to the standards of medical spaces.

I welcome CANOPUS MEDICAL CENTRE to our property and look forward to the success of their business venture as we too continue to benefit from their services.

As we were ending the day, we also visited the Kazinga Channel to take a glimpse of this geographical feature which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. A bridge was erected across this water channel to allow movement of people, cargo, vehicles from one point to another.

Update about Kasese Humanist School

Kasese Humanist School is a secular school that offers nursery and primary education to young people between ages 4 years to 16. The school over the years continues to grow both in enrollment , staffing and infrastructure developments.

Bizoha Children

The school teaches the Uganda Government school curriculum and spices it with hands on skills, creativity, critical thinking skills, humanist values and evidence based learning. We encourage our students to be job creators rather than job seekers, our interest is to have them have all round knowledge, we encourage them to question everything and always seek for correct answers.

The school has children from all backgrounds and since we are more of a community school, we do have children from less fortunate needy families, brilliant children from over burdened families, Orphans and struggling children who are talented in different fields say games and sports, music to mention but a few.

Thughende Thusome by Masika rihanna

This song is sung by a Kasese Humanist School child in Primary 5 at the Rukoki campus. The song highlights about the need for children to keep in school, avoid bad morals and bad peer groups to stay away from trouble. It encourages them to listen to advises from their parents and teachers and get focused on to their education for its what can brighten their future.

With hands on and voice on skills, we can go to another level in exposing and tapping talents of young people.

Kasese Humanist School at a glance video

This is a must watch video highlighting Kasese Humanist School and our efforts in helping Ugandans access a balanced education.

I am so grateful watching a clip created by one of our long term child sponsor who has helped one of our young girls for several years now. This video clip showcases the Foundation on which Kasese Humanist school is based and what it cherishes.

It mentions about our different campuses, our school contacts and how one can get involved.

We do welcome volunteers to come work with us. The video can be shared with family and friends.

Education is the key that unlocks all doors

Pupils at Kasese Humanist School - Kahendero

The right to education is one way of combating poverty, ignorance, disease and irrational superstitious beliefs.

Education opens the gates to success

Education empowers communities

Education allows young and old people to connect with each other.

Education boosts economic development in several ways.

Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world

Education helps humanity to understand false from truth, facts from fiction, Imaginaries from realities.

Education becomes meaningful if it allows the leaners to think for themselves without any strings attached.

Education makes sense when it has no element of indoctrination of any kind.

Education is enjoyable if the learners are given chance of asking as many questions in their attempt to get correct answers.

Some of the Humanist values that we cherish at our schools

Curious minds in education generates better learners who are in better position to make wise decisions in life.

Education connects communities, nations and continents through human interractions and connections

At Kasese Humanist School we offer a balanced education that aims at generating an all round generation that will build up a better Uganda.
