I was featured on Canadian Atheist.com talking about myself, how far am moving and why the need for evidence based learning in Uganda where belief in magics and superstitions is high.
This is a must read to all my fans and enemies. My works is documented online for people to see and perhaps emulate. Here is the link:

Update on the Library furnishing project
Some a month ago, we set up a fund raiser together with a good friend of the school who is based in the United States, so far we have raised 220 USD and those monies have been remitted to me and i have done purchase of 20 plastic chairs, a table and now some book shelves.
HOW TO JOIN THIS FUND RAISER
You can get involved in this champaign by visiting our fundraising page at Library Furnishing fundraiser @ Kasese Humanist School
You can help by making this campaign known to your friends or by becoming one of our promoters in this noble campaign.
Table Number 1 to put in the school library at the Rukoki School
Several plastic chairs have also been procured to act as seats for library users
Plastic chairs to be used in the school library
We have 3 campuses in different locations and my dream is that each place should have its own library where kids can sit and read a book from the many that we have.
I have procured some timbers in my attempts to make bookshelves where books can be kept and made available to the kids on a free self service.
Timbers arrive at the school to make in book shelves
My intention in this is to put in place book libraries at the schools in my journey of fighting against ignorance.
I made two bookshelves which is likely to shelter scores of books on free thought, Science, Social studies, maths, languages, auto biographies, Arts subjects at secondary level, primary school text books, reading for pleasure literature, magazines, journals, periodicals, newsletters and educative posters.

Fund raiser to furnish our school library
A friend of mine created a fund-raiser to aid the school accomplish some of its needs and is raising a specified amount of funds.
Her name is Cheryl Rømerø Gardner, she is a great woman, rational, passionate about my works, a great fan of science and humanism and a friend of Kasese Humanist School

Some of our books at one of the schools we own
I told her that if the fundraiser is a success, i would dedicate those funds to furnish one of our school libraries with adequate furniture as in book shelves, seats and reading tables. The good thing is; we already have the library room but lacks adequate furniture to suit the purpose.
Reading books on a veranda due to lack of seats in our book bank
Here is the fund-raising page :
School children should be exposed to educational readable materials and they should have the freedom to pick a book of their choice from the book shelf.
We at Kasese Humanist School have a variety of readable books on science, story books, social studies, mathematics, English,Geography, History, Business studies, entrepreneurship skills, free thought, personalized book titles and so many more. Our school encourages students to read widely, research widely, question widely and above all question everything.
Knowledge is power, our children are determined to seek for knowledge, power and wisdom
We are great promoters of critical thinking and we expose our students to vocational skills trainings, Computer skills, Gardening and craft making.
An itemized budget for the Library furniture is as below:
6 big reading Tables 350 $
36 Chairs to sit on 300 $
3 Giant bookshelves 300 $
Miscellaneous 50 $
Project Goal = 1000 $ USD
The room on the right is designated to be a school library but it lacks seats, book shelves and chairs

Chicken farm project at Kasese Humanist School - Rukoki
ABOUT KASESE HUMANIST SCHOOL
We are a private, secular school based in western Uganda in Kasese District, our school is set up on the foundation of Science and embraces humanist values.
We fancy evolutionary science, encourage critical thinking, free inquiry and evidence based learning.
We teach the national curriculum and spice it with vocational skills, humanism drills and computer trainings.
Our school is 8 years old and we have 3 campuses at different locations on our own permanent lands.
We offer: Nursery education, Primary Education and Secondary education.
More information about our schools are available here Kasese Humanist Schools
THE CHICKEN FARM PROJECT
Kasese Humanist School is coming up with a chicken project late this year .
In some years back, the school had a similar project that aimed at providing eggs for the kids free of charge and we did that over the years, by then we were still renting at the Railway Building properties in the outskirts of Kasese Town.
When we relocated our permanent home at Rukoki, we continued with the project for some 2 years and as the school expanded we were obliged to halt this project and re-purpose the building to shelter the boys so it was made a dormitory which actually at present accommodates 22 boys.
Recently as we were making fences and house modification works project, we created a big spacious building which we had initially planned to be a dining area for our students.
BENEFITS OF THE PROJECT
In a brief meeting i had with the School management, we realized that if we created a poultry farm in this building the school, the project will offer the below benefits:
PROJECT ACTIVITIES
The maroon roofed building will have to be shuttered, wire meshed windows will be added, some plastic sheet put on the roofs to offer a nice illumination of the inside area, two internal compartments will be created at the extreme end to also provide a small room for the poultry keeper and the inside area will just be leveled.
The chicken house will bear a plaque sign bearing the words THE CHICKEN PALACE
The nearby garden near this building will all be in a fenced area for privacy purposes.

- The project will generate manure which will act as organic fertilizer which will be available free of charge and will be spread in the nearby gardens inside and outside of the school fence.
- The teachers themselves will have shares in the project and will be required to own some chicken inside the poultry palace, this will help them to improve on their welfare.
