 πŸŒŸ Highlights from Science Week

Kasese Municipal High Humanist School

Science Week was an exciting and engaging event that brought learning to life through practical activities, teamwork, and innovation.

The event was Sponsored by The Scientific Temper Charity based in Germany in conjunction with Kasese Humanist School, Uganda πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¬,  the implementing school was the secondary wing; Kasese Municipal High Humanist School  based in Rukoki, Kasese Municipality. 

πŸ”¬ Hands-On Experiments

Students conducted physics experiments such as determining the refractive index of glass and measuring mass using a metre rule.

Practical learning helped students better understand scientific concepts.

🌱 Agricultural Activities

Learners analyzed soil samples and explored soil types.

Discussions focused on improving crop productivity and sustainable farming.

πŸ§ͺ Interactive Learning

Students actively participated in group experiments and demonstrations.

Emphasis was placed on observation, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

πŸ‘©‍πŸ”¬ Student Engagement

High levels of participation from both lower and upper classes.

Students showed curiosity, creativity, and teamwork throughout the week.

🎀 Leadership & Guidance

Opening remarks were led by the Head of Science, Headteacher, and School Director.

Teachers guided students through experiments and encouraged inquiry-based learning.
