Upgrade of the school’s perimeter fence at the Rukoki campus

Perimeter Fence Upgrade Strengthens Safety at Kasese Humanist School – Rukoki Campus

Kasese Humanist School is pleased to share the successful upgrade of the perimeter fence at its Rukoki Campus, a key milestone in our ongoing efforts to provide a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment for all students.

The improved fence enhances campus security by clearly defining school boundaries, controlling access points, and protecting learners, staff, and school property. This development reduces the risk of unauthorized entry and helps ensure that students can focus on their studies in a calm and protected setting.

A secure school environment is essential for effective learning. The perimeter fence upgrade also safeguards classrooms, dormitory facilities, and other school resources, while strengthening the school’s ability to manage daily activities smoothly and responsibly.

This upgrade reflects Kasese Humanist School’s commitment to the wellbeing, dignity, and safety of every child, in line with our humanist values. We are grateful to our partners, supporters, and the local community whose encouragement and support made this improvement possible. Great thanks to the School Director for his courageous and focused efforts to make the school environment more comfortable and appealing.

As we continue to grow, Kasese Humanist School remains dedicated to investing in infrastructure that promotes quality education, security, and holistic development for our learners.

Attached are some of the snapshots of the perimeter fence upgrade exercise.

Pens For Kids Denmark πŸ‡©πŸ‡° donates to Kasese Humanist School, Uganda πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¬

Kasese Humanist School extends heartfelt gratitude to People for Kids Charity, based in Denmark, for their generous and impactful donation to our learners. The charity donated hundreds of pens, several soccer balls, a collection of library books, and clothes that were distributed to selected students in need.

This support has made a meaningful difference in both academic and co-curricular life at our school.

The pens and library books directly enhance classroom learning by improving access to basic scholastic materials and encouraging a reading culture among learners.

Items such as pens will be issued to all students when the school reopens for Term One in early February, ensuring every learner benefits from this generous donation at the start of the academic term.

The soccer balls promote physical fitness, teamwork, and talent development, contributing to students’ overall wellbeing.

The donated clothes have helped restore dignity and comfort to vulnerable students, allowing them to focus better on their studies.

We sincerely thank People for Kids Charity for standing with Kasese Humanist School and for believing in the potential of our children. Their kindness reflects a strong commitment to education, child welfare, and human solidarity.

We look forward to continued friendship and partnership as we work together to build brighter futures for our learners.

Thanks Uganda Humanist Schools Trust for the Beds donation

The acquisition of metallic double-decker beds marked an important milestone for our school. Generously donated by Uganda Humanist Schools Trust, the beds have greatly improved the living conditions of our learners in the dormitories.

The new beds are strong, durable, and space-saving, allowing more children to sleep comfortably in a clean and organized environment. This has reduced overcrowding, improved hygiene, and enhanced student safety and dignity.

We are deeply grateful to Uganda Humanist Schools Trust for this timely and thoughtful support. Their donation reflects a strong commitment to child welfare, quality education, and humanist values. The beds are not just furniture; they are an investment in the wellbeing, health, and academic success of our learners.

A total of 15 metallic double-decker beds were made, creating 30 additional sleeping spaces. This has significantly eased congestion in the dormitories and ensured that more learners now sleep comfortably and safely.

Some of these beds have been installed in our newly built boys’ dormitory extension, further improving accommodation capacity and providing a safer, more comfortable sleeping environment for the learners housed there.

Attached are some pictures of the beds being made, ferried to the school.
