πŸ§ͺ Science Week Inspires Innovation and Curiosity

Kasese Humanist School recently celebrated its annual Science Week, a dynamic event that brought excitement and creativity to our classrooms.

Learners showcased innovative experiments, science projects, and debates centered on how scientific thinking can solve real-world challenges.

The event strengthened our mission to promote rational inquiry and critical thinking among young learners — inspiring many to dream of careers in science and technology.

The SCIENCE WEEK EVENTS was sponsored by a German based charity called Scientific Temper.  We deeply thank this charity for supporting our School project.

🌸 Empowering Girls through Sanitary Pad Support

Our school remains committed to supporting girls’ education and promoting menstrual hygiene.

During the term, we distributed sanitary pads to girls in our care to ensure they stay confident and consistent in their studies.

This initiative helps reduce absenteeism among girls and reaffirms our belief that every child deserves equal access to education.

πŸ“š Book Donation from Uganda Humanist Schools Trust (UHST)

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Uganda Humanist Schools Trust (UHST) for their generous donation of books to our school library.

These materials have enriched our learners’ access to knowledge and improved classroom resources for both teachers and students.

With these new books, our learners can read widely, research effectively, and deepen their understanding of the world.

🏫 Dormitory Extension Project – Progress and Appeal for Support

Blocks were made on-site to simplify the exercise

Construction on oourBoys Dormitory Extension Project is progressing well. The project aims to provide more space and better accommodation for our boarding students, many of whom come from distant or vulnerable backgrounds.

Initial grounds where the Boys dormitory extension works is ongoing

We are now at the stage of roofing, shuttering, flooring, and plastering, and we urgently need support to complete these remaining works.

We kindly appeal to friends, well-wishers, and organizations to contribute toward finishing this vital project. Together, we can create a safe and comfortable home for our learners.

🌱 Success Story – Our Tree Planting Campaigns

Our tree planting initiative continues to thrive! Over the past year, students and staff have planted hundreds of trees around our school and nearby communities.

These trees not only enhance the beauty of our environment but also promote climate awareness, soil conservation, and biodiversity.

The campaign has become a living classroom where learners practice environmental stewardship and sustainability in action.
