We have scores of chicken at our campuses, they feed on free range hence we have no worries on buying the feeds, when we mill the maize, we get free brun. We however vaccinate them against killer diseases that affect poultry.
At the Rukoki campus, we have the chicken in a building called the Chicken palace. We normally keep our numbers low to avoid crowding and ensuring that the project is manageable.
We do feast on them and most of the beneficiaries of this project are the staffs, The school management and the kids use it as a learning ground to know more about keeping chicken and proper management.
