Prayer is a communication to God/Allah/Bisaka/ or to any of the 5000 + gods so far invented by humanity. ... Prayer is done by those who trust the power of word and thought. Jesus taught people to say the Lord's PrayerPrayer can be spoken, silent (no talking), or in a song. It can be used to praise God or to ask for something including help and forgiveness.

Questions to ponder about on a critical view:

 Do prayers work

- Is there someone listening to them
- Is there someone to reply to them
- Is there someone to service them
- Cant people figure out solutions to those problems
- Cant people figure out solutions in case what is asked isnt a problem
- How often does a god answer our prayers
- Does god first have to listen to our prayers to answer them back
- To people who have never prayed in life, how do they solve their problems
- Cant a god get annoyed with us owing to the several requests we give to him/her etc.
