Kasese Humanist Schools run a child sponsorship/scholarship scheme aimed at supporting bright but needy children to access primary and secondary education.
Sponsors pay funds directly to the school, and the scholarships cover tuition, meals, uniforms, books and exam fees.

Primary day scholar: ~£150 per year
Primary boarding: ~£300 per year
Secondary day scholar: ~£200 per year
Secondary boarding: ~£400 per year
3. What the Scholarship Pays For
Sponsor contributions go toward:
Tuition
Meals in boarding cases
School uniforms and scholastic materials (books, pens, crayons, mosquito nets etc.)
National exam fees & local exam fees
First aid support at school health clinics.
4. Sponsor Expectations & Reporting
Sponsors usually receive
A photograph of the sponsored child
Termly performance updates
End-of-year general report.
Communication and gift sending arrangements can be made via the school.

6. Kasese Humanist School Education committee in conjunction with the office of the School Director together with the headteachers screen out eligible Scholarship Award beneficiaries and considerations are entirely based on Merit.
This year (2026) we are offering 20 bursaries to Brilliant children who pass in division 1 intending to join senior 1 at Municipal High Humanist school

In order to serve more children , we have introduced the DAY SCHOLAR STUDENTS SUPPORT FUND to generate a crowd fund where a donor can contribute any amount and the pooled funds support as many day school attending children at any of our Nursery and Primary schools in Rukoki, Muhokya and Kahendero.
