Dormitory Extension Project: Expanding on the Home for Learners

Dormitory Extension Project: Expanding Our Home for Learners

Cubicle rooms to shelter more fullboard students at Kasese Humanist School

At Kasese Humanist School, we believe that every child deserves a safe, comfortable, and inspiring place to live and learn. To meet the needs of our growing student community, we are excited to announce the Dormitory Extension Project — a major step toward improving our boarding facilities and enhancing student welfare.

Meeting the Needs of a Growing School

Over the years, our school has continued to attract more learners from across Kasese District and beyond. As our enrollment increases, so does the need for quality accommodation for our boarding students. The new dormitory extension will help reduce overcrowding and ensure that every student enjoys a clean, secure, and supportive living environment.

The extension will feature spacious sleeping areas, improved sanitation, better ventilation, and designs that promote comfort and dignity. These upgrades will make life at school even more enjoyable and conducive to learning.

Supporting Holistic Education

This project is not just about expanding buildings — it’s about strengthening our mission. With more dormitory space, students will have access to quiet study areas, recreational spaces, and enhanced health and safety facilities. By improving their living conditions, we help them focus more on their studies, personal growth, and teamwork.

As our Director notes:

> “Our goal is to make Kasese Humanist School a true home away from home. The dormitory extension is an investment in our children’s future — a commitment to their comfort, safety, and success.”

Powered by Community and Supporters

The Dormitory Extension Project is made possible through the generous support of parents, local revenues from Kasese Humanist school establishments, and friends of Kasese Humanist School worldwide. Many have contributed funds, materials, and labor toward making this vision a reality.

We warmly welcome continued support whether through donations, partnerships, or volunteer efforts — to help complete the project and furnish the new dormitory.

Promoting Equality and Dignity

The new facilities will also promote gender equality and safety, with well-designed separate sections for girls and boys. This reflects our humanist values of fairness, respect, and compassion, ensuring that every child feels secure and valued within our school community. Right now we are expanding on the boys dormitory.

Building a Better Future Together

Once completed, the dormitory extension will allow us to host more students and continue delivering quality education rooted in science, reason, and human values. It’s a milestone in our journey — one that shows what we can achieve when we work together for the good of our children.

At Kasese Humanist School, we are not just building classrooms and dormitories — we are building hope, opportunity, and a brighter future for all.
