A Swiss national  by the names  Francis on tour of the Rwenzori region visited Kasese Humanist Primary School on 12. February 2012 and was accompanied by another white friend. The two gentlemen were fascinated by the work we are doing and thanked us for the nice works we are rendering to the local people in our efforts to ensure Ugandan People are relieved from belief in Magics and Superstitions.

They donated a World Atlas Book which now adds up to our book collections in the shelves of our School Library,in addition they carried along executive pens and writing pads which are currently being used in the School Administration  Office.

KHPS receives pens donation from Pen for kids organization

Many thanks PEN FOR KIDS ORGANIZATION UK CHAPTER
Kasese Humanist Primary School pupils on 21st February 2012 had smiles on their faces as they were supplied with Brand New Pens from Pen for Kids Organization based in the United Kingdom. The shipment of pens amounted to 4000 enclosed in 4 separate boxes with each containing a 1000 pens.
The pens were received by the School Project Director Mr Bwambale Robert  and the shipment had been sent by TNT World Express who delivered the shipment to Entebbe and later after clearance with the Customs, the package was sent to the Kasese School by a local agent working for East Africa Courier Company.
On behalf of Kasese  Humanist Primary School, i am thanking the Pen for Kids UK courtesy of Mr Malcolm and Mr Claus of Pen for Kids Denmark. Our school  has benefited twice from this organization, earlier last year, over 2000 pens was sent to us and pushed the school for a full year with surplus donated to neighboring schools. The same thing is going to be done by distributing to sister schools as a gesture that we humanists share the little we get with other people irrespective of their beliefs, race and cultural background.
You can view photos of our kids immediately after receipt of the pens at the school below:
